Why Mothers Are Not Mere Human
I, Teresa Cahigas Tabayan, a mother for 4 years of a boy child Jaydrian Tabayan, believe that when a woman turns into a mother her life starts changing from then on. She remains no more just a human; she becomes a super lady. And this gives me real pleasure that I can pen down my mother-life story. A big THANKS goes to BEBE Bargains.
Little Things Of My Life
Painting and drawing is something interests me a lot. And whenever I can I utilise my leisure time in drawing and paintings. It helps me to wash away stress from my mind. I can feel relieved. Apart from these I enjoy singing. Most of the time I sing with my son and it becomes a moment of great love and bonding.
Motherhood Is Auspicious
I say the feeling of motherhood is divine. This journey, once begins continue to carry the essence of a sacred vibe within a mother. So I must say that it is a gift of God. A mother is a protector, friend, guide, nurse, and a teacher too. She is the true inspiration of her child.
A Mother Does More Than Parenting
Although I personally, feel like stay-at-home and look after my child always, still I think it is only reasonable for a mother to continue their profession. If a working mother can manage time and focus on both work and child, then nothing can get any better. Even a mother has got an identity to create through career and profession. Besides, many mothers need to work to support family and especially if they are parenting alone.
Father’s Activity Is Necessary
A father is not restricted to give financial support to a family. He should be even more serious about the child care as he has to stay out most of the time. A father must learn few things of baby care, managing little house hold work and raise a kid. Monetary support is not everything. One has to understand the child properly and bonding cannot be done without effort.
You Get To Learn A Lot
Patience is the first thing I learnt. I was not this much patient as I am now. Earlier I was impulsive, now I think twice before deciding anything. And I know that all these new changes in me is because I am a mother. My child has taught me in more than one ways, shaping my life.
Items I Discard
All the baby products that I bought in cheap rates thinking that I am getting a good deal. Later I learnt they are all of poor quality and I got rid of them, promising myself never to go for such things.
Things I Would Always Buy Second Hand
I am always in search of baby toys, shoes, clothes, accessories and superior quality toiletries. Second hand products to me are very dear as they have lots of love and hugs to share.
There are times in my life when I ask myself “if life could have been better?” Then I look at my son and I picture my world in him.
